Blue had an amazing run this season, seeing a large reduction in penalties from last year. The team that has perhaps been together the longest as players and friends, was very successful during the season and took every game to OT in their semi final bracket. The loss in the last 10 seconds of double OT was a heartbreaker, but there were still smiles on their faces as they contemplated and appreciated the excellent teamwork and finesse on the ice this year.
Black now moves on to the finals. Will white be the champion the umpteenth time in a row? Or will black commit regicide and inscribe their names on the historic MNJCC trophy? We will all find out on Monday...
